I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.  I'm sure you all know my fondness and fascination for anime featuring maids and I just happened to stumble upon a short OAV entitled "Azusa Will Help".  Its basically Mahoromatic meets baseball, with the title character helping out a failing high school team.  Sometime in the not too distant future, the creation of sports robots have resulted in a falling interest in sports, both as a past time and as a profession.  The losing team decide to invest in a sports robot to counter their losing streak; unfortunately, not having much in the way of finances reduces them to purchasing a used maid robot.  A charming OAV which leaves you feeling positive afterwards, it gets the Triple M two thumbs up award.

Having quite possibly the shittest timetable I've ever had during my university life, today I had a 9am lecture followed by second and last one at 3pm.  To make matters even worse, the two lectures are about statistical maths...  Oh well, I at least met a lovely girl from Vietnam on my course this morning who I shall continue to sit with on this particular module.

I caught the latest episode of Mai-Hime this morning which simply reeked of greatness.  Silly karaoke parties and scary plot revelations were the order of the day, the call of episode 17 raw may prove too great to resist...
