Hello and welcome to my first ever blog entry. I've always fancied doing one of these but never really got round to it; luckily for you folks out there, I've gotten off my lazy ass to finally get one done and here it is!
Well, whadya know, I have a weekend off from work for the first time ever. I've been working long shifts for the last 5 days straight which has really taken it out of me. It also doesn't help that I end up going to bed during the wee hours of the morning, only having to get up between 9 and 10am to go to work again...
So, what am I going to do during this momentous weekend occassion? Well, I'm due to receive my brand new Sony PSP arriving straight from Japan later this morning which I can't wait for. I'll need a couple of bits and bobs before its fully functional so I'll be doing a spot of shopping around Birmingham city centre later today.
I've just started watching an anime series called Witch Hunter Robin, by Sunrise who did Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, and all the Gundam series out there. Pretty interesting stuff, certainly looks very stylish and has a pretty cool musical score. I can't help but feel the episodes kinda just end without any explanation (they're pretty much all self-contained). Ah well, can't have it all really. I'm also currently planning out the details for another AnimeSoc DVD raffle with all the proceeds going towards the Asia tsunami appeal. Luckily, none of my relatives in Malaysia were affected by this unforeseen disaster but they could have easily been. I thought I had a pretty shitty Christmas and new years but its nothing compared to the tragic victims of the tsunami, at least I still have my life and my health. I know we probably won't get much in the way of donations but coupled together with everybody else's around the world, I hope its a start to help people rebuild their lives and homes. God's speed.
Right, on that note I'm gonna try and catch a few Zzz's since its now almost 4am. 'Night everyone!
