Today was my last day at work for the winter period, and I was put in charge of introducing the latest new employee to everything in the place.  Wasn't a bad experience, the girl was bubbly and enthusiastic which should work in her favour once she's learnt the ropes.

Not much else has happened today; Lumines and Evangelion didn't arrive in the post courtesy of our appauling postal service.  What kind of time is 11:30am to have the mail arrive through the door honestly? 

I've been playing yet more Ridge Racers and the difficulty curve has finally kicked in.  Up until now, I've been able come in first place with every race I've participated in.  With the current race, I simply can't beat the CPU to first place (necessary to win the round, damn).  I also applied the latest beta version of the PSP firmware update and was thoroughly impressed by what it had to offer; internet browser via wi-fi, Word and Powerpoint viewer, diary, address book, and a couple of other things which I didn't pay much interest in.  I decided to remove the update in the end since it seemed a little unstable but I'll definitely be applying the final release once its publically available.  Winner.
