Well, its finally all over; the last episode of Genshiken has finally been fansubbed. One of the finest anime I've ever had the pleasure of watching and discovering, I can only wait until the manga gets a release on this side of the world. The animation for the last episode surpassed even that of the first ever episode, a worthy way to see it off. And for those of you who didn't realise, the girl at the door during the end credits gets introduced later on in the manga. Having a taste for "yaoi" doujinshi, she surprisingly becomes romantically linked with Sasahara with hilarious results. I salute you, Genshiken!
Saw Infernal Affairs II last night with Khang and Joseph, and I'm undecided as to which was better. The first had some nice action moments whereas the sequel (actually the prequel) explained everything very well, answering most questions. And to my surprise, another cast member from the live-action Initial D movie turned up; one Mr Anthony Wong who played the superintendent will be playing Bunta Fujiawara.
I've been playing more Phantom Brave today which has suddenly gotten more difficult. The AI is no longer just attacking random members of my team, but narrowing in on the weaker ones. I've still yet to figure out if there's a way to limit Marona's experience gain, since she's rocketing ahead of everybody else; granted she does need it all since without her, the game's all over. I'm also scouring eBay for the US special edition of the game since it comes with the soundtrack on CD and of course, plays in full 60hz; none of this PAL shite for me.
Went to the gym again today with Peter, and we're both showing major improvements in our physical performance. I'm just a few metres shy of running 2km in under fifteen minutes and my stamina has increased too. Saturday afternoons and weekday lunchtimes (bar Wednesday) are pretty quiet, though the treadmill hogs do tend to crawl out of the woodwork around these times.
