Well, after only a short while of longing and wanting, the latest 5G iPod is finally mine. A bit of a belated birthday present to myself in ways.

In other news, I went to see Tim Burton's latest feature, "The Corpse Bride" with Dave, Andy, Gérard, and Kasia last night and I think we were all somewhat disappointed. It wasn't a terrible movie, but everybody expected a bit more from the creative mind behind such cult classics like Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice.
To me, the movie felt like a 15 minute short that had been stretched out to 90 minutes. The humour was childish and infantile, and the songs featured throughout were all forgetable (what the hell was the skeleton dance number all about?!). Not recommended, steer well clear!
