Today is a sad day for my beloved Sony Eggo's have died on me.  For those who haven't seen them, the Eggo's are Japanese imported headphones with ear cups which look like eggs.  My D22SL Eggo's are hands down the best sounding headphones/earphones I have ever listened to.  I've used these babies for over five years now and only this year have they started to fail on me.  First the synthetic leather padding on the cusions started to come apart, and today, both channels decided to stop working. 

Sony have a high-end model, the D66SL, otherwise known as Eggo Pro, which I've been looking into if I can't fix my current Eggo's.  Sadly, the anime of 2005 review will have to wait a bit longer...
